The Impersonators - Scarlet Hell

The Impersonators are a two-man project based out of Finland with musicians who have been at it for years. The Impersonators began as a home-grown project to hold over someone getting over the break-up of a previous band ‘Carmen Gray’ where Tom Tikka had wrote decades worth of songs for his brother to compose. Today we take a look at the new single from The Impersonators “Scarlet Hell.”

“Scarlet Hell” jumps straight into the mix within seconds and wastes no time with introductions. We start off with a groove and soft singing that anyone could dance to. The chorus is very danceable and the transition was so smooth and fast I didn’t even realize it was over until I found myself wishing for more. You can tell listening to this tune that this was written by experts with a lot of experience and occasionally you revisit that strange realization that this is only a duo and not a full band. The instruments sound very full and the production value in this song is strong from end to end, the only constant in this song is the professionalism in the sound.

After listening to “Scarlet Hell”, all I could think of is that I wish it was longer than its two minute and forty-nine second run time; the track is really something special and I feel like it introduces us well to The Impersonators. For more, you can find The Impersonators on their website, or on Instagram. Check out the official music video for “Scarlet Hell” embedded below!
