Richard Lynch - Radio Friend

Richard Lynch is an American country music artist based out of Waynesville, Ohio. An experienced musician of over thirty years, Lynch truly knows how to entertain with his music. Previously we have listened to three of Richard Lynch’s songs, “Rodeo Town”, “Hurtin’ Cheatin’ Lyin’ Country Song” and “Grandpappy” and today we are excited to share our thoughts on “Radio Friend”!

“Radio Friend”, which is dedicated to and inspired by radio DJs Gary Cohn and the late Ray “Chubby” Howard, serves as a meaningful tribute to some legendary radio personalities. Lynch’s brilliant vocal work really serves the lyrics up in a memorable way, providing both warm tones and a welcoming melody. I think the most important aspect of this song is how Lynch is able to convey what these radio personalities meant to him in a way that lets the listener truly feel the emotions Lynch must have been feeling.

I am always left impressed by the music that I hear from Richard Lynch and “Radio Friend” may just be my favorite from this artist so far. Make sure that you keep up with Richard Lynch on his Twitter, Facebook and Reverbnation pages. You can find - and purchase - “Radio Friend” below!
