Jaron Ikner - One Way Trip
Jaron Ikner is an award-winning multimedia artist from Arizona who shines across many mediums including video, film, writing, graphic design and creative direction. Ikner is a passionate storyteller and utilizes his skillset to tell a whole story across many layers of media. As a musician, he hones in on a tactful hip-hop/rap approach. His latest track, “One Way Trip”, is a striking example of his passion and creativity.
Ikner comes out firing, bringing quick-hitting rap bars to his verses - an approach that immediately drew me in. “One Way Trip” also features a catchy chorus that serves as an excellent hook; the lyrics here also tie well into the song’s title: “if you want to go, I can take you there” and “you know we never comin’ back” speak to the one way trip concept presented by the track’s title. Trance-inspired synths pepper the entire track which adds a lot of extra flavor while the bass and percussion serve up Ikner’s vocals like a three course meal; this song is a complete package.
“One Way Trip” is a great introduction to Jaron Ikner’s quick-hitting and catchy flow and all of the passion he puts into his music.
