Brooke Surgener is an Indie Folk music artist from Erie, Pennsylvania. A talented music artist, Surgener consistently releases excellent and enjoyable music. We have previously listened to Surgener’s single, “Gimme Gimme” and today we are excited to check out “I Hate You The Least”!
“I Hate You The Least” is an undoubtedly heartfelt song with some very personal lyrics. Tender melodies are abundant in this song and Surgener’s vocal performance really brings out the meaning of the song in a way that is unforgettable. I love the personal touch during the line “I just wanna be alone with you and our cat”; it is such a genuine moment that it was impossible not to smile when I heard it. This song really is a special one and I think there is a lot here for any listener to unpack and enjoy.
