Triillbert - Balance

Triillbert is a hip-hop artist and songwriter from West Texas. A distinctive artist, Triillbert’s talents shine through in the music he creates and his sound definitely stands out from the crowd. We have previously checked out Triillbert’s Icy Boy EP and today we are back to listen to his latest album, Balance!

Balance kicks off with its title track and instantly you are transported into Triillbert’s world. Triillbert’s flow is phenomenal here as he shows how perfectly balanced he - and his style - are. “Never Fall” follows and it has one of my favorite instrumentals from the album. This track is particularly emotive, both in its hook and through Triillbert’s flow, and is an absolutely special performance from Triillbert. “No Good” is third and features Jai Sterling. I love the vocal interplay in this song and you get some deep-cutting lyrics in this one as well. “Remember Me” is up next and it it features August Keys. This track is a hard-hitter and features some truly brilliant bars and awesome vocals from all involved.

“Over You” is fifth from Balance and it is such a good post-breakup song. Indeed, you really get that clarity and closure from this song and it feels great. “Rick” is next and it stands as one of the more unique songs from the album. I like the way the song kind of has a slow-burn feel to it, this approach really lets the emotions presented within hit home. “West Texas Woes” is seventh and the quick-hitting flow in this one is absolutely remarkable. I love how autobiographical and reflective this song feels - it has a really genuine vibe to it.

The eighth song from Balance is “Right Now” and the slow fade-in immediately gives way to some emotional vibes that have real power to them. I love it. Next is “Twenty-Three” which contains a triumphant message and some impactful energy. Triillbert’s flow again gets the point across in such a memorable way - this one will really stick with you. “Gone” is tenth, providing some literally spiritual energy. In this song, Triillbert states his desire to leave a positive impact and, trust me, through his music he already has; his desire to be remembered is relatable and I think he definitely will be long after his time comes. “Queen” is next and again features Jai Sterling. Again, some awesome vocal interplay is on display and this song is another special one.

“Greatness” is twelfth; the flow here reminds me a lot of 00’s kind of rap and it really hits the spot for me as a result. “Yung Icy God” is second-to-last on the album and this one is best played LOUD. A contemporary-feeling song, this one has some massive appeal that I know will hit well with a lot of listeners. Closing the album is a bonus track, “Can’t Find Love”. Despite being a bonus, this song has some of the best lyrics and best vocals on the whole album - it would feel incomplete without it.

As if to present perfect balance, this album clocks in at forty-six minutes and forty-six seconds according to Spotify, further showing us just how on-balance and in his element Triillbert is on this release. Triillbert’s talent shines bright on Balance and shows us both his natural artistry and how well he works with his collaborators. Triillbert really has a big talent and I love how Balance really highlights that. Triillbert makes some absolutely hard-hitting and impactful music and I think you all will love Balance - we have it embedded below!
