Junya Komori is a music composer from Japan. Known for emotive and epic masterpieces, we have written about many of Komori’s songs here at Which Coast and he is definitely one of our favorite artists. We are always excited to share Komori’s music with you all and today we are excited to share our thoughts on his latest, “Blood Emblem”!
From start to finish, “Blood Emblem” is a pulse-pounding and energetic ride. The percussion in this piece is explosive, driving the rhythm section in an extremely epic way. While listening to this song, it is easy to imagine epic battles unfolding before your eyes and I think it is phenomenal at using sonic imagery to put you in the right mindset. I usually leave out how Komori edits his own videos together - he does - and I think this is one of his best videos because it goes with the song perfectly.
I must say, it is truly exciting watching how Junya Komori’s style is evolving - he is truly a talented composer.
