Future Never Spoke - None

Future Never Spoke is a folk-inspired music experience which draws its name from an Emily Dickinson poem. Inspired by a line from a Doors song, this artist records his music in his home in front of his kids, something that adds a very unique dynamic to the music he releases. Today we take a listen to Future Never Spoke’s single, “None”.

Seemingly recorded live in one take, “None” is a brief but quite engaging track. Although the only instrument featured here is an acoustic guitar, and chord progression pair very well with the lyrics and vocal performance to create a strong folk atmosphere. What I enjoy most about “None” is that it captures a moment in time; you can hear the artist’s children in the background during the track and I find this to be massively genuine and authentic, adding something to the song that you could have only found in this one take - this one moment in time, from this one artist and his family.

Future Never Spoke gives us a one of a kind listening experience that has a wholesome feel to it. “None” is the only song on Future Never Spoke’s Spotify so far, but I hope that more tracks are coming soon because of how powerful and resonant the artist’s recording style is.
