Finessen - Mulatto
Finessen is an R&B/hip-hop artist coming out of Atlanta, Georgia who is known for his down to Earth approach to his music. An artist with a great amount of potential, Finessen utilizes a cross-genre approach that makes his music truly unique and easy to vibe with. We have previously covered Finessen’s single, “One Step”, and today we take a dive into another rock solid single from Finessen, “Mulatto”.
Coming in at just one minute and thirty-eight seconds in length, “Mulatto” is a short song but definitely manages to hit the spot in its short run time. The real highlight of this track is Finessen’s skillful rap flow that gels well with the instrumental portion of the track; if you are looking for some great interplay between the beat and rap flow, this track certainly delivers and this aspect makes the track quite memorable. Overall, “Mulatto” is full of some pretty sick vibes and is the kind of song you will want to listen to over and over - a testament to the exceptional writing and rapping skills that Finessen brings to this track.
Having now listened to two tracks from Finessen, it is easy to tell that he is an artist on the rise; “Mulatto” is quite different from the first track we listened to, “One Step”, as it takes more of a freestyle approach, but both songs shine positive light on Finessen’s brilliant performing skills.
