Electric Peace - Dinah Might

Electric Peace is a garage punk rock band from Reseda, California. This group is the brainchild of Brian Kild who has lived an interesting life; having served prison time with Rick Ross, stolen gas from Kurt Cobain, fought with Kim Fowley and even survived an assassination attempt, Kild’s life story is certainly an interesting one. Today we take a dive into Electric Peace’s new single, “Dinah Might”.

“Dinah Might” is an absolutely electric garage rock song. From the outset, this track is a master class in melody, providing catchy vocals and a memorably melodic instrumental accompaniment; the bass especially stood out, driving the track straight ahead. “Dinah Might” is incredibly easy to dance along with and I found myself consistently bobbing my head while listening. Overall, this track finds its sonic frequencies somewhere between surf rock, psychedelia and Misfits-style punk and all of these forces combine to make it truly exceptional and memorable.

Electric Peace is an outstanding band with a richly enjoyable sound. I feel as though “Dinah Might” is a great introductory track to this group and is a track that I definitely enjoyed a great deal. You can keep up with Electric Peace on Facebook and through their website. As always we have “Dinah Might” embedded below via Spotify and you can also find the song on SoundCloud!
