Originally, Ndili’s music was intended for use in a videogame and the artist still thinks of these instrumental pieces as possible elements of videogame soundtracks. As is the case with all of Ndili’s music to date, “Blue Spirit” is an instrumental piece that conveys a story. Within this song you will find plenty of layers to enjoy; the song is certainly piano-driven and the piano has the most captivating of all of the melodic work, though other instruments accent the sound splendidly and add some great texture. I could see this song being used for a time lapse video, perhaps of the sky as clouds come and go across that big, beautiful, blue backdrop - it would certainly match the song’s title!
“Blue Spirit” is simply outstanding and I think you all will find a wonderful story within the splendor of this piece.
