Duane Parham - My Turn

Duane Parham is a Saxophonist from Detroit, Michigan. Known for his exceptional contributions to Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Gospel Music throughout his fifty year career, Parham is heralded as one of Detroit’s most popular Jazz musicians. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Duane Parham’s single, “My Turn”!

A smooth and deeply enjoyable experience, “My Turn” provides a Jazzy listening experience with some bounce. The track as a whole has a warm and positive feeling to it, giving off good vibes to its listeners. Unsurprisingly, the star of the show that is “My Turn” is the saxophone performance from Duane Parham; his melodic choices reflect a soulful approach that I found to be both engaging and emotive. This song’s bright overall nature gives it crossover appeal that I think would play well with even those who do not listen to much or any Jazz music.

After listening to “My Turn”, I must say I am impressed by Duane Parham and his brilliant saxophone skills.
