California ™ feat. Les Fradkin - Come To Me

California has been a recording group since 1973, all the while featuring the talented multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and vocalist Les Fradkin. We have previously checked out quite a bit of Fradkin’s work, both solo and with California, and today we are back again to share our thoughts on another California’s single with Les Fradkin, “Come To Me”!

A groovy song that will get you up and moving, “Come To Me” provides the kind of experience that only Les Fradkin and California can. All parts of the song are catchy, from the bouncy instrumental to Fradkin’s lead vocals - like I said, you will want to get moving while listening. Of note is that the initial recording for this song was done in 1980 with overdubs and a second mix coming in 1981. The final overdubs and mixing came in October of 2022, making this excellent song one decades in the making.

As it stands, “Come To Me” is a song with a great backstory and phenomenal execution, making it a great listening experience. You can keep up with California and Les Fadkin through Facebook and website as well as find Fradkin’s music on Spotify. We have “Come To Me” embedded below via Bandcamp and you can also find the song on SoundCloud. Full credits for this song are beneath the music player below!
