Brian Charles Tischleder - Paul and Babe

Brian Charles Tischleder is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. We have previously listened to Tischleder’s powerful song, “I Can’t Breathe”, which was from his album This Town that discussed tough topics surrounding the racial injustice and social unrest in Minneapolis during the summer of 2020. Today we are back to listen to his latest, “Paul and Babe”!

“Paul and Babe” comes in at two minutes and forty-five seconds and it left me quite impressed. This song has a lot going on in its instrumental, providing a richly layered tapestry of texture that will make you want to get up and move; my absolute favorite element was the way the bass guitar and drums played together in one of the funkiest rhythm sections I have heard in a long time. Tischleder’s time-worn vocals are raspy and passionate and I feel like his performance matches the lyrics - and the way the song sounds as a whole - perfectly.

I think you will find that Brian Charles Tischleder is a well-spoken and well-versed artist who offers a great listening experience and meaningful lyrics across his catalog of music. You can keep up with Brian Charles Tischleder through his website, Facebook and Twitter. We have “Paul and Babe” embedded below via Spotify and you can also find the song on YouTube!
